Oyster Copper Turquoise Pendant Wrapped In Sterling Silver

Oyster Copper Turquoise is actually a composite gemstone. It is made by combining Turquoise with Copper and real shell from the Spiny Oyster, a unique and beautiful shell.  The combination of Turquoise and Spiny Oyster makes a beautiful, colorful, and unique patterns in these stones, as you can see here. And no two of these stones will look the same, especially after being wire wrapped. This cabochon is held in place by 3 wire pulls that sit on top of the stone.  For the bail area, I kept that area thin as to keep the balance between the stone and the wire.  There are only 3 wires that are formed and separated to try to add a little depth and dimension to it.  I'm very happy the way it turned out.
