Mookaite Jasper Pendant Wrapped In Sterling Silver

I tried something completely different on this piece of premium Mookaite Jasper. I did a reverse bail to keep the top front of the pendant to keep it clean and free of the bail wires. The bail wires are formed towards the back and then secured in place by the 5 rows of wire wrapped around the base. Then I went a little fancy with the separated, hand-formed wires that accent the front and left side. So because those wires are separated, it does make the piece a little more delicate (Delicata) than most of my other pieces, but certainly gives it more of a 3D look.
