The stone here is a wonderful piece of Montana Agate with a very visible chuck of Manganese Oxide (black spot) in the lower left corner. I designed the wire wrapping with an intentional gap to highlight the manganese oxide. Also made the braces in the back as small as possible so you wouldn't see them through the stone. Montana Agate is believed to be approximately 60 million years old.
