Because of the rich and warm red color of this Rosarita stone, we decided to name this piece "Warmth". Actually it is not even a stone at all, but rather gold-infused glass because it is a byproduct of the gold smelting process. I don't think the photos do it justice because it is really pretty in person. I pulled two of the bundled wires up on the bottom left for a design look, but also to secure the stone in the wrap. The top half is held in place by the two ribbons of wires that sweep from left to right.  This was a fun piece to design and to make.  Hope you love it!!

As mentioned, Rosarita was a byproduct of the gold smelting process from the 1960s and 1970s. Because of more efficient processes that were developed, Rosarita hasn't been produced since the 1970s.  So when you see this material, you can be sure that it is from the 1960s or 1970s.
